Sunday's Bulletin Message 2/22/2026
We started our Youth Sunday Services with our Adult Class Study of the book of Revelation. In the Worship Service we sang some congregational hymns & our Children & Teen Choir sang & some special singers sang praises to the Lord. Afterwards, Assistant Pastor Jaden Fitzpatrick preached from the Old Testament book of Psalms entitled: "The Strength of the Family" from Psalms 127:1. IF YOU FEEL THAT CHRISTIANITY & BIBLICAL ACTIVITY WITH OTHER CHILDREN IS VERY IMPORTANT
FOR YOUR CHILD-
...bring them to our great Wednesday Evening Kids On A Mission Program at 7-8 pm. They'll experience -Pledges to America, Christianity, Bible Prayer & Singing, Memory Verses, Bible Lessons & Game Actitvities, Rewards of Bible Bucks (for being present, bringing friends, knowing verses, etc...) Puppet Ministry the last Wednesday of each month, and once each quarter there's a store for them to buy stuff with their Bible Bucks
SPIRITUAL CARNALITY
AND MEANNESS-
...are often cloaked in Christian garb. "By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another." (John 13:35)
YOU'RE NOT SHOWING CHRIST-LIKE LOVE IF:
1. You deliberately antagonize another person. Example: When you see that someone doesn't like your "kidding". it's wicked and most UNChrist-Like to "kid" them. Instead, change your approach to that person. Be kind, complimentary, tenderhearted and compassionate. Build a relationship with them totally absent of smart aleck remarks, joking, teasing etc...
2. You ignore someone as if you're not interested in what they have to contribute to church life.
IT'S BEEN SAID-
"Our Churches must change or they're gonna die!" I whole heartily agree with that. Here are some changes I propose:
1. Let's change in the sense of becoming more biblical than we've been.
2. Let's change in the sense of getting rid of every version of the Bible but that KJV.
3. Let's change in our prayer life. Let's pray daily for souls to be saved, for people to love Jesus and want to live for him, for God's will to be done in our lives, not our own.
4. Let's change in our lives from wasting time to "redeeming the time for the days are evil".
5. Let's stop being rude and unkind to people and start being Christ-Like in how we communicate and treat people.
6. Let's start going to church more often instead of less.
7. Let's stop disrespecting God's house with "any old thing will do in dress and service" and start being our best for the Lord Jesus Christ.
8. Let's change from being cold and indifferent to evangelistic and full of scripture.
9. Let's do more hymns instead of hem hawing and more specials that are special to Jesus.
