Sunday's Bulletin Message 5/17/2026

Pastor's Picture

We started our Sunday Services with our Adult Class Study of the book of Revelation. In the Worship Service we sang some congregational hymns & our Adult Choir sang followed by some special singers who sang praises to the Lord. Afterwards, Assistant Pastor Jaden Fitzpatrick preaches a message entitled: "Where Are The Nine" from Luke 17:11-19. LAST SUNDAY (5/17/2026) WAS CHOSEN BY PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP FOR A MASS PRAYER GATHERING, TITLED
"REDEDICATE 250"-

It was a National Jubilee of Prayer, Praise & Thanksgiving. The event took place on the National Mall In Washington, DC as part of the 250th anniversary celebrations of the United States. It's Purpose was to dedicate the U.S. as "one nation under God" and to celebrate the nation's 250th birthday. The date corresponds to a 1776 Continental Congress proclamation of a national day of fasting and prayer.

I am so thankful that God has given us such a great President. His policies are the most biblical of any President in our lifetimes. Instead of picking at his obvious language problems and things one many not like about him, let us proclaim his obvious Judaeo Christian America First policies and principals. We united our hearts along with him and multitudes more in this special time of rededicating ourselves and our nation to God. We appreciate your participation last Sunday!

IT TAKES TWO TO HAVE A RELATIONSHIP-
(Luke 13:34)

PRAISE GOD, THANK YOU-

$3,000 has already been donated towards the $12,600 cost for our basement flooring project. We appreciate whatever you give towards the remaining $9,600.00.

I'M SO THANKFUL-

that when I stand before God, I will never have to give an account for hurting a Pastor or Church (the precious bride of Christ), or "ghosting" an individual that loved me and did everything they could for me.

WHAT ARE WE LEAVING BEHIND TO HELP THE CAUSE OF CHRIST?-

"..."But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:" (Matthew 6:20)

IT'S BEEN SAID-

"Our Churches must change or they're gonna die!" I whole heartily agree with that. Here are some changes I propose:

1. Let's change in the sense of becoming more biblical than we've been.

2. Let's change in the sense of getting rid of every version of the Bible but that KJV.

3. Let's change in our prayer life. Let's pray daily for souls to be saved, for people to love Jesus and want to live for him, for God's will to be done in our lives, not our own.

4. Let's change in our lives from wasting time to "redeeming the time for the days are evil".

5. Let's stop being rude and unkind to people and start being Christ-Like in how we communicate and treat people.

6. Let's start going to church more often instead of less.

7. Let's stop disrespecting God's house with "any old thing will do in dress and service" and start being our best for the Lord Jesus Christ.

8. Let's change from being cold and indifferent to evangelistic and full of scripture.

9. Let's do more hymns instead of hem hawing and more specials that are special to Jesus.
